CROSS COUNTRY NEWS

WEDNESDAY TRIANGULAR @ PRINCEVILLE The Rebels Cross Country teams traveled to Princeville Wednesday (Sept. 2nd) to participate in a triangular meet with United and Princeville. Neither the Girls or Boys teams could post a team score due to having less than 5 runners finish the race. The Girls who have 9 runners on its roster had only 3 start the race due to 6 sitting out for various reasons. Alyssa Dyken was the first of the 3 to finish running a very good race to finish in 3rd place with a time of 23:07. Trinity Shimmin (25:21) finished in 5th place with Riley Menssen (25:22) right behind in 6th. The Boys started the race with 5 runners but Brett Browning had to drop out due to a medical issue. For the second straight week, Caden Daum was first to the finish for the Boys with a time of 19:23 good for 5th place. Other finishers for the Boys were Payton Stahl (6th - 19:32), Alex Welch (9th - 20:03) and Jack Winans (19th - 21:42). Overall winner for the Girls was Bridget Brokaw of United in 22:09 and for the Boys Denver Hoerr of Princeville in 17:22. The Princeville course was 3 miles long. Results
